April 2020:

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, an already planned kick-off meeting, with the coordinator JOANNEUM RESEARCH as host, was cancelled and replaced by a web conference. Thus, HI-ACCURACY was launched in an online kick-off meeting on April 15th, 2020, which was attended by 33 researchers from 11 partner organizations in 6 European countries. During the meeting, the entire consortium successfully planned the next steps.

In addition, an External Expert Advisory Board was formally appointed during the meeting to facilitate a qualified external view. The Advisory Board will supply technical input throughout the entire project term. Despite this unprecedented  situation, the HI-ACCURACY project was successfully launched and the foundation for a successful project was laid.  Meetings will continue using teleconferencing which allows a free flow of information in a safe and sustainable way.
