The Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), the national funding agency for industrial research and development in Austria organised an interactive online campaign offering detailed information on Horizon Europe - the European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation. In the course of this campaign current European research projects were presented to a virtual audience. Dr. Georg Jakopic, Vice Director at JOANNEUM RESEARCH Institute MATERIALS, introduced the H2020 project HI-ACCURACY and its ambition to develop printed electronics down to μm size for Organic Large Area Electronics (OLAE), Thin Film Transistor (TFT) and Display Applications.
The subjects covered were chosen to assist future applicants for Horizon 2020 funding by introducing the funding body and its aims and objectives, including promoting innovation in health, sustainable growth and social transformation. The 10-week online campaign is also delivering practical advice that would will help existing and prospective funding recipients and
concludes on the 22nd March with a high-level policy event with the EU Commissioner Mariya Gabriel and senior representatives of Austrian Federal Ministries.
